The Amber Alert issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety that included three children missing from McKinney has been canceled.
The children were found safe in Terrell, according to the Department of Public Safety.
Authorities have not released additional details.
DPS said 3-year-old Yaretzi Lincecum, 4-year-old Calvin Lincecum and 5-year-old Yesenia Lincecum were last seen at about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday in McKinney.
They were last seen with Calvin Lincecum, 33.
McKinney police said Lincecum was at home in the 300 block of Woodleigh Drive with the children and their babysitter when an officer of the court served him with a protective order. Lincecum was ordered to stay away from his wife and children.
Police did not release information on why the protective order was issued.
Lincecum got into the car with the three children and drove away, said McKinney police spokesman Chad Barker.
Barker said the mother told police Lincecum may have taken the children out of state, possibly to Louisiana, where he has relatives.
Lincecum faces charges for violation of a protective order and interference with child custody.
NBC 5 has crews on the way and we'll update this story with more information as soon as it's available. As this story is developing, elements may change.
